For installers, inspectors, and homeowners

The equipment
you install,
still remembered in twenty years.

QRchive is a weatherproof sticker you put on the control panel. The next technician scans it and every manual, warranty, and service note is already there. No app. No login. No hunting through email.

The problem

“Who installed this? What’s under warranty? When was it last serviced?”

Five years after an install, the manual is in a moving box. The invoice is in a dead email. The installer’s phone number has changed. And nobody remembers which model of pump is in the yard. QRchive puts the answers right on the equipment — and keeps them there, long after everyone’s forgotten.

How it works

Four steps.
Eight minutes of work.
Documented forever.

The sticker is the whole interface. There’s no homeowner app to download, no service-tech account to set up, no login screen to remember a decade from now.

  1. Stick it

Peel a QRchive label from the roll and apply it inside the panel. No drilling, no wiring — it adheres cleanly to any flat surface.

  2. Activate it

Log into your dashboard and activate the sticker for $49. That opens a private folder, yours for the life of the install.

  3. Upload everything

Drop in manuals, warranties, commissioning reports, install photos. Or email files straight to the folder’s unique address.

  4. Scan, years later

Anyone who scans the sticker — homeowner, inspector, future service tech — sees every document in their browser instantly.

The sticker

Industrial polyester.
Not just software.

QRchive labels are printed in-house on Z-Ultimate 3000T — the same material used for UL-recognized equipment nameplates. They’re rated for a decade inside a control panel. And they stay inert until you scan them into an account. No charge until that first use.

Who it’s for

One sticker.
Four people it has to work for.

For installers

A timestamped record of everything you’ve ever installed.

Bill the $49 into the project like any other material. When the callback comes five years later, you already know what’s in the panel.

For service techs

Open the panel. Scan the sticker. Read before you wrench.

Model number, wiring diagram, install photo, last service note — all of it in the browser on your phone. No login, no app install.

For homeowners

Buy the house, inherit the paperwork.

Everything the previous installer, inspector, and homeowner uploaded stays with the equipment — not their Gmail account. Adds value at resale.

For inspectors

Design, as-built, and maintenance — in one place.

Scan in the field, pull every permit, commissioning report, and inspection since day one. Regulators get a paper trail without the paper.

The sticker lives here. Next to the breakers, inside the panel — exactly where the next technician will look for it.

Pricing · Per sticker activation

$49
CAD
one-time · activates a single QR sticker

You only ever pay when you turn a sticker on. That one-time $49 opens the folder behind a specific QR code and keeps it alive for the operational life of the equipment — no monthly fee, no subscription trap, no seat license for the next service tech. Most installers bill the activations through to the client like any other material.

The roll

A roll is 25 physical QRchive labels on a peel-off backing strip — the stickers themselves, printed in-house in Port Alberni on UL 969-rated weatherproof polyester.

The first roll is free for every company. Additional rolls ship at our cost — we don’t make money selling stickers, only when one gets activated.

Each activation includes

  • 1 GB of Canadian-hosted cloud storage
  • Unlimited scan access, no app required
  • A unique inbound email address per folder
  • Download-all as ZIP, anytime

Built by an installer

“I got tired of homeowners calling me five years after an install to ask what was in their yard. Now I stick a QR on every control panel. The client, the next tech, the inspector — they all scan it and find everything they need. Problem solved.”

Questions

The things you’ll ask first.

Every label carries a unique printed ID (e.g. QR-002470). If a sticker is scratched off or fades, order a replacement with the same ID and re-apply it — your folder and every document inside stays untouched. Your folder belongs to your account regardless of the physical label.

Put one sticker on the next install and see what it does.

First roll of 25 is free. Activate one sticker when you’re in the field, hand the homeowner the folder URL, and judge it from there.
